It's All Coming Together...

OK, so we had a class critique on our models but there was only time for one good hint to get shouted out before we moved on to the next thing. Later, at a party, a friend told me that my chair was very "chairee."

Well, crud.

I realized that I'd over done one aspect of my project and none of my objects had any personality! That just won't due so I've redone the chair and I'm in the process of redoing the desk.

The buttons might be a little too much "cake" but I'll wait to make a decision until after I've done some texturing.

Also, I've come up with a shape language.

Squares are science stuff.

Squares with rounded edges and comfort objects.

Triangles are debris and decay.

I'm thinking my color scheme will be red and green. I've always loved movies with a thoughtful color pallet. Here's a great example from the movie Amelie.
